This image is tagged as "experimental", this is done when commission doesn't properly represent the number of slots used. In most cases this is because I spent more time drawing it than the number of slots required, but it's always good practice to experiment so I'm happy to do it!

Reason for Experimental: An early set of emotes I did. If you want emotes, do ask. They're fun to do but difficult to estimate how long they take because I don't do them often. When delivered you get them separate with transparent background.

Reason for Experimental: This just took more time than expected for various reasons. An extra overlay layer gives slight differences in color across large areas with one hue, like the hair goes from lime green to almost teal instead of just being one color. There's also a bit more detail than I might've first expected. Patterns on clothes like this can be tricky. Well worth the time though.

Reason for Experimental: The colored lineart is something I haven't done often. This is mostly experimental due to the other version though.

Reason for Experimental: It took some extra time making sure the silhouette beneath the dress looked convincing. The shaded lineart is also something I haven't done often. On top of that it's two different versions. All in all a bit more work than the usual 1 slot, but I'm glad I took the time.

Reason for Experimental: Sometimes you just gotta spend some extra time on a big dong what can I say

Reason for Experimental: This should be a fine idea for 1 slot if you want something similar, it just requires a slightly different way of drawing that I'm not entirely used to, especially the "picture in a picture" thing.

Reason for Experimental: 3 slot 1 character pics like this is a great oportunity to spend more time on rendering. Since it's not very common, I want to make sure it looks nice, even if it takes a bit more time than expected. Figuring out which parts should be lit by the cold sky or the warm city lights while keeping the butt looking nice and round was tricky, but I'm very happy with it.

Reason for Experimental: This is quite different to the stuff I normally draw. My style works well when all characters are similarly in focus, but here the three harpies are more like a border, or background and foreground, to the main character the elf. I think it came out looking nice though and I'd love to get more challenging ideas like this in the future.

Reason for Experimental: I was like 80% through time-wise when there was no background. I intended on doing something similar but it left a lot of dead space around the character, so I spent extra time adding the bushes and clouds on the outside and the vent and picture on the inside. I'm very happy with how the color temperatures differ between the both sides :>

Reason for Experimental: This was 1 slot before I added the white top. I haven't really drawn clothes like that before, but I think it looks quite nice and I'm glad I took the time to make it look nice.

Reason for Experimental: It's difficult to estimate how long alts take to do. It wouldn't surprise me if toggling between the different layers for what's in each alt and saving each individual version takes half a slot worth of time. It is nice to have a nude ref and a clothed ref of your character though. If you want to get something similar, just ask me and we can talk about it :)

Reason for Experimental: This was sent in as a 1 slot, but since it was my character I wanted to spend extra time on it, so I kept drawing past the 1 slot timer until I was hapy with it. It took slightly longer than 2 slots, but a single character with background in 2 slots definitely works.

Reason for Experimental: There were a few too many details to make both versions work in 2 slots. Without the alt it would've worked well. I'm still learning how to do alts efficiently!

Reason for Experimental: I paused the timer while drawing this and forgot to start it again, so I have no idea of long it took. Because of this, I spent a lot of extra time to make sure it looked at least as good as one would expect from a 3 slot comm.

Reason for Experimental: Backgrounds like this can't be done in 1 slot. This one took a little extra time to do because of it.

Reason for Experimental: This one had a few alts that aren't uploaded to the booru. It probably doesn't need the experimental tag, and something similar can be expected from a 4 slot comm, but it's probably a good idea to ask me specifically when you think about getting a ref sheet :)
