This image is tagged as "experimental", this is done when commission doesn't properly represent the number of slots used. In most cases this is because I spent more time drawing it than the number of slots required, but it's always good practice to experiment so I'm happy to do it!

Reason for Experimental: The lighting in combination with the multi-toned fur was a bit much for 1 slot. She looks very spooky though. Don't be afraid to ask for something similar.

Reason for Experimental: Simply the lighting. Hadn't really attempted to make it look like characters were sat in front of a TV like this before, so it required some extra work to make it look right. Shouldn't be too much trouble if done more.

Reason for Experimental: Background and foreground, simply put. The character is fairly clean in her design (one color fur and hair, no markings, piercings etc.) and the pose shows mostly a big butt, which helped. I don't think this was far off being possible in 1 slot.

Reason for Experimental: I don't think I'd ever done rendering like this before, so I took extra time to tweak the intensity of the shadows and rim lighting. The character is draw a bit simpler than other 1-slot comms to make up for this and the monster in the background. I'm glad I got to draw this though. Stepping out of the comfort zone is very educational.

Reason for Experimental: When drawing this I was still fairly unsure about drawing backgrounds for slot comms, so I made sure to take my time to make it look right. I've grown more confident now, so something in this style should be possible in 3 slots. Especially considering the simpler rendering of the character on the left. Worth noting though that buildings (interior or exterior) in perspective will always be tricked than something like a nature scene or buildings from head-on.

Reason for Experimental: A 1-slot commission with a front and side pose is not quite possible, but this one wasn't 2 slots either, more like 1.5. One thing to note if you want to get reference sheets like this is that perfectly symmetrical A-poses, combined with fairly symmetrical designs (like here only the hair and ears are asymmetrical) are significantly less time consuming to draw than if the character is viewed slightly from the side.

Reason for Experimental: I think this was originally a 1 or 2 slot commission that only asked for front and side views, and I decided to add the back view. Something like that. Reason for Experimental: I was still unsure of how well I could do backgrounds for slot comms when I did this one, but it's one of the nicest backgrounds I've done I think. To (Alliance) WoW players it should be very clear which zone they're in. I really like the colors and the atmosphere, and I hope I'll be able to do more backgrounds in the future.

Reason for Experimental: I tried something new with the zoomed in cut-ins having soft edges, which I hadn't done (at least much) before. It required the cut-ins to be on separate layers so that I could fade out the main image behind them. This and rendering of the material took some tweaking to get right.

Reason for Experimental: I think the tails with the change in colour toward the tip and the long dress just took a little longer than expected. This shouldn't be impossible in 1 slot though.

Reason for Experimental: The fireworks and the pattern on the Kimono were drawn by hand and they took a surprising amount of time to do. Shortcuts might be helpful in the future, but I like how they look here. Using a premade "fireworks brush" would save a lot of time but might look out of place. Instead, these were done with the same brush as the lineart.

Reason for Experimental: I hadn't really done confetti and streamers before, but I don't think it's something that would be too difficult in the future. I like the movement it gives the image.

Reason for Experimental: A multiple-panel comic page is usually not possible in 1 slot. The two extra panels aren't super complicated, but lining them up neatly and deleting excess lines and colour between them took extra time. Was a nice limit test though.

Reason for Experimental: Many small details like rivets/studs, belts, shiny materials, fishnets, nails and two tone tail and hair. Love the boots though.

Reason for Experimental: Two characters and a couch is perfectly reasonable for 3 slots. The reason this is experimental is because of the pattern on Ashe's jacket and the texture on Elise's balls, both of which took some extra time to make look right. The speech bubble made to look like one of those impregnation panels was also a fun touch that required a bit of extra tweaking.

Reason for Experimental: I don't have a lot of experience drawing darker scenes, so it took a bit of extra time making it look nice, even adding the vignette effect to the dialogue and the X-ray. In addition to this, the dragon girl's tail was quite complicated to draw. I think it came out looking nice though, it gives a very intimate vibe though.
